
When using your opt in list, always remember that you are not just sending an ordinary promotional material to your subscribers. There are always rules when sending such materials in order to retain your subscribers on your opt in email list.
First of all, send an honest-to-goodness promotional materials or catalog of your product to your subscribers. Newsletters that contain only informative descriptions and news should be created in sent in for them. This way, they will think of themselves as special members of your list and will be satisfied in making the decision of having themselves included in your opt in list.
Of course, we cannot discount the possibility that there are members who will eventually decide to have their names taken off from your opt in email list. Therefore you will also have to provide an unsubscribe option or feature in order to give them the choice.
There will be times when emails bounce. This usually happens because of a busy server and so you can always send again some other time. Another reason for bounce emails is that the recipient’s inbox is already full. Check for the frequency of bounce emails on a particular address. If your message always bounce on a particular one, then you can delete such address from your opt in list.
Again, remember to only send appropriate newsletter and promotional materials to your subscribers. Do no in anyway send disturbing materials such as lewd or shocking content. Always base your content on your product and business. Certainly, you will be able to maintain a good opt in email list and make all your subscribers contented if you send them the materials that they truly need and appreciate.
